Position Summary
GEO Security Corporation, a family-owned Central Florida security company, is hiring unarmed Gatehouse Officers in the Brooksville area. Gatehouse Officers staff the entrance of a gated community as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors — controlling access with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities
- Staff the community gatehouse and control resident, guest, and vendor access
- Verify credentials and authorization lists and issue visitor passes
- Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident logs
- Operate gate and barrier systems and monitor the entrance area
- Communicate clearly with residents, property management, and GEO Security supervisors
- Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License
- No firearm license required — this is an unarmed post
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background screening
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
Schedule, Pay & Benefits
Full-time and part-time schedules are available at the Brooksville gatehouse. Pay is $15–17 per hour with weekly pay and direct deposit. Uniform provided, supportive team environment with ongoing support, and opportunities for additional assignments.
