Florida Security Certifications
D-License
State-required license for unarmed security officers, authorizing professional duties including access control, patrol, observation, and incident reporting.
G-License
State-issued armed security license permitting qualified officers to carry firearms while performing elevated-risk protective security assignments.
Guardian
168-hour Guardian Program, conducted through the Florida Sheriff’s Office. GEO Security supports qualified officers through the application and placement process for these specialized assignments.
